Found a dog...

We got a call from Grand-dad one morning saying that he had something that we needed to come by and see. When we got to Grand-dad's we meet this beautiful puppy. He told us that the dog had wandered up and he had been hanging out for several hours. He was worried that if the dog left, he may get hit by a car, etc. He asked if we would keep the dog for a bit until we found the owners. He was so sweet and so cute, I of curse said yes. We kept the dog for 3 days, all the while getting more attached to him, when we got the call. My dad had just seen a sign for the missing dog. We were very sad, but ended up taking the dog back to his owner. It was the right thing to do. (Why is that sometimes so hard???) The dog coming into our lives was a blessing, however. While we had him, we found out that he was a Black Mouth Cur. Further research turned up that we also own a BMC!!! She's 12 years old, and we have always thought she was a mutt! Every bit of info about these dogs PERFECTLY describes our Lea!!! :)

So, since "Hank" had to go home, we are on the lookout for a new Black Mouth Cur puppy! :)
