Fun @ the grocery store!!! How great that they put TWO streering wheels in the car?!?! Genious!

A playdate with a twist! Our good friend (5 yrs old) had to leave our
McDs playdate in an ambulance! The good news is that he's ok and all is well. Love ya SMB!!!

We had dinner in Galveston at one of our favorite places after going

to a weekend meeting for work with dad.

Coy gave Kyle a ride on his 4wheeler under strict instruction to GO
SLOW! He did a great job. What a sweet big brother.
The Oscar Mayer wienermobile came to Friendswood. The kids were so

excite to see it drive down the street.

Coy & Kyle love Old Navy!!!

We went to the grocery store as a family and Dad kept the kids busy while I checked out at the register. He let Kyle ride in "the boat". Kyle had a blast... but now we have to ride in the boat every time we go to the store! ;) Thanks Dad! xoxo

Fun at Home Depot!!! (We have fun everywhere we go!)

Cydney wanted a couch in her room instead of a bed. She & Daddy also cooked up the idea of a Rock-themed room. It turned out really nice & she loves it. (The couch folds into a bed!)

Kyle's Birthday & Boy's party goes here.

Cydney LOVES to read and Coy loves to be read to. They read "Where the Red Fern Grows" together. What a cute pair!

Awww. How sweet!

Crazy dog... Loves to sit on things!

I took the kids to Fun Max to have a little fun and bounce away some energy. Coy and Cydney always live this place, but it was Kyle's first time. He wasn't too happy at first, but he quickly got aclamated and enjoyed himself.

Logan's High School Graduation!!!
It's hard to believe that she's old enough to graduate, but indeed she is.

For such a HUGE HS, the graduation had to be held in the Reliant Stadium. These pictures don't do justice to the massive number of people that were there.
Snacks, Games & iPod to keep the little ones occupied was a must!!! We even shared with the kids around us. :)
If you squint really hard, you can see logan to the right of the lady in the black robe near the steps to the stage.

Our local mall recently added a Lego store. Coy begs to go in every time we pass by it. Once a month they have a FREE Mini build for ages 6+. (Of course, Coy's still 5, but could pass for 6 or 7! lol) This Mini build was a sail boat. He had a ton of fun! We'll definitely attend next month as well!

Coy has been in gymnastics for 2 1/2 years. He loves it and does pretty good! At the end of each season, there is an Olympic Day. This season is his first to do actual routines on the floor, the rings and the parallel bars. His coach says he sees promise for the future... If that's what Coy wants, we'll support him 100%.
Bridge up

Floor routine (Cartwheel)

Floor routine (scale)

Rings (pull up)

Rings (swing)

Rings (skin the cat)

Parallel Bars

Parallel Bars (dismount & salute)

A chalk hug for mom. (yes, I fell for it)

Dad had a morning meeting nearby, so he was able to swing by. Coy (and Kyle) was SO excited that Dad could make it!

We went to Moody Gardens and had a semi-good time. It would have been great, but the mosquitos INSIDE were crazy! Check out my poor baby! I took him to the Dr because he had so many & was very very cranky. Dr says he'll be ok, just keep him from scratching them—they'll scar. Ugggh! Oh, and BTW, we had a family portrait scheduled for this week. I guess that'll have to be rescheduled! :(

Here's a letter I wrote to MG. Stay tuned for an update.

To whom it may concern,

My family, friends and I have been loyal members and frequent visitors to Moody Gardens for years. We have even renewed our memberships post-Ike, believing that every effort would be made to bring the entire place back to pre-hurricane condition or better. I have always been pleased with the exhibits and facilities until now.

Sunday, May 31 my family visited Moody Gardens. As we walked through the parking lot, we noticed that we were being swarmed by mosquitos. We quickly made our way into the "sanctuary" of the building. As soon as we got in, we got tickets for the IMAX. While standing in line (indoors), we noticed that the mosquitos were nearly as bad as outside. We got our tickets and made our through The Rainforest, The Garden Restaurant & The Aquarium... surely they would be protected from the vermin. I'm sorry to say that this was not the case. During our visit in The Rainforest & The Garden Restaurant we were continuously swarmed with mosquitos. My husband & I relentlessly swatted these flying terrors from ourselves and our 3 children. Unfortunately, there were many mosquitos that found their way to my childrens' flesh. (For pictures, visit www.white304blog.blogspot.com).

I beg you to please do something about the mosquito infestation that you have on the grounds & in the buildings of Moody Gardens. My 10 month old baby got the worst case of mosquito bites I've ever seen from INSIDE Moody Gardens. I would hate for this to continue and for other people to be affected the same way.

Until I hear that this problem has been corrected, we will not return. We will also cease to renew our memberships if the problem is not addressed in a timely manner. Moody Gardens has always been a favorite place for my family to visit and my children to learn. I pray that we will be able to return again in the near future and continue our relationship with Moody Gardens.

Sincerely,
Katie White

Cydney is the best Clarinet player in the family! Ok, so she's the only clarinet player in the family... but she really IS good! She also plays some piano, guitar and the drums! She wants to write music when she grows up and I think she'd be great at it. She has a fantastic ear for music and writes beautiful poetry!

Check out Kyle's new car!
He's showing definite signs of being ready to walk, so we got him this "car". He can ride it or more importantly stand behind it and push. :)
Coy loves anything to do with space, and I have to admit, I do too. With the incredible Hubble Space Mission just complete, I took the boys to the Welcome Home Ceremony for the astronauts. I think Coy was a bit star-struck! It was cool to see him so excited.

Sometimes we call Coy MacGyver because he's always "rigging up" something strange. Here, he's hooked up the microwave to a pacifier leash to a monkey to a bucket.
Don't ask me why, but it WAS for a reason.
Once he rigged up a "dumb-waiter" for his fort in the back yard using an extra swing from the swing set. Another time he hooked his wagon to the back of his pedal-tractor with a ribbon and a stick. This kid seems destined to be an engineer! :) And that's cool with us!
